In his unparalleled commitment to continuously look for new and adaptable practices that would provide only quality service and products for its customers, PJ Lhuillier Inc. (PJLI) President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier was awarded by the Philippine Society for Quality, Inc. as the 2013 Juran Medal Awardee during the 2013 National Quality Forum held at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel on October 11, 2013.
“This medal is the result of thousands of people, from different parts of the country, working hand in hand to guarantee the delivery of quality service,” JHL said in his acceptance speech, stressing that the recognition he received is “not a conclusion but a beginning of a promise.”
Quoting Joseph Juran’s emphasis on human dimension as the core of quality management, JHL said “Cebuana Lhuillier is a company run by people for people.” He also highlighted the company’s Be the Best campaign which aims to develop quality workforce to deliver quality service. “From a culture of maintaining the status quo, we challenged our people to think of more ways to do things better,” he said.
With another title added to his long list of achievements, JHL has proved once again his unwavering value for the employees as the heart of the company and the customers as the soul of PJLI.
