Cebuana Lhuillier Bags 13 Awards –including the Grand Globee– from the 2021 Golden Bridge Awards

Cebuana Lhuillier nabbed 13 distinctions from the 13th Annual Golden Bridge Awards, which recognizes global industry leaders for their outstanding business programs and innovations.


The company received the highly coveted Grand Globee Award for its multiple recognitions for the innovative products, business continuity programs, services centered on financial inclusion, and more. These were all quickly mounted in response to the global pandemic and the New Normal.


Meanwhile, President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier received five Gold Globee Awards for the impressive entrepreneurial skills to move the company forward, in spite of the global pandemic. The following awards were bestowed to JHL: Innovator of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Maverick of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Executive Achievement of the Year. These awards are a testament to his unmatched leadership and remarkable vision that guides the company’s digital transformation.


Cebuana From Home, the online platform for pawning services, was named the winner of the Gold Globee Award for Innovation in Consumer Products and the Bronze Globee Award for Innovation in Consumer Services.


For the overall initiatives to empower millions of Filipinos for financial inclusion and mobility through Micro Savings, Cebuana Lhuillier received the following awards: Silver Globee for Product Development Project or Initiative of the Year, Bronze Globee for Most Innovative Company of the Year for Consumer Services, and Gold Globee for Most Innovative Company of the Year.


In addition, the Digital Brillo 2020 received a Silver Globee Award for Live Event of the Year for Employee Engagement, while CLFI’s Tulong sa Pagbangon also received a Bronze Globee Award for the Company Response of the Year – COVID-19.


The Golden Bridge Awards recognizes businesses and institutions from around the world for various aspects of the business, innovation, COVID-19 response, employee engagement, communication campaigns and more. Winners were judged by 85 of the world’s industry experts and business leaders.


These awards are a testament to the company’s value of excellence and innovation.
