Cebuana Lhuillier, Enjaz support migrant workers volleyball tourney in KSA

6th Kingdom Wide Volleyball Tournament (2)

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Cebuana Lhuillier and Enjaz Banking Services teamed up to sponsor the 6th Kingdom-wide Men’s & Women’s Regional Volleyball League held at the Kingdom Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) last September 24 to 26.

The event is currently the largest volleyball tournament in KSA, and is participated by teams of migrant workers coming from different regions in the Kingdom. The volleyball tournament was organized by the Filipino Athletes and Performers Society.

REMINDERS:

  1. All raffle entries are based on transaction numbers.
  2. Clients may have multiple raffle entries based on the number of qualified transactions.
  3. The client may only win once per draw date. If a client is drawn more than once on a draw date, the client will win the prize with the highest value.
  4. The non-winning entries from the previous draws will still be included in the succeeding draws.
  5. The registration fee and other related expenses on the Motorcycle prize will be shouldered by P.J Lhuillier, Inc.
  6. The winners will be notified through registered mail. They must follow the instructions indicated in the registered mail in claiming the prize. They must also present a valid photo-bearing ID and its photocopy together with the original notification letter in the Cebuana Lhuillier branch assigned to them.
  7. Clients must ensure that they have updated their personal information (e.g., name, address, active mobile/telephone nos., and birthday) at the Cebuana Lhuillier branch where they transact. The information of the client recorded in the system will be considered correct and will be the basis in sending their notification letters.
  8. All winners have sixty (60) days upon receipt of notice to claim their prizes. Otherwise, it will be forfeited in favor of Cebuana Lhuillier with prior DTI approval.
  9. Employees of P.J. Lhuillier Group of Companies, Ad/Creatives Agency, PR and Media agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promo.
  10. The prizes are not convertible to cash.

Cebuana Lhuillier celebrates with Ka-Cebuanas in Australia

Sydney, Australia – Reaching out to our Ka-Cebuanas  down under, Cebuana Lhuillier participated in the Sydney Fiesta Kultura 2015 last October 5 at the Fairfield Showgrounds, Smithfield, Sydney. It is the longest running multicultural community event organized by the Philippine-Australian Sports & Culture Inc. and the largest Filipino community gathering in the region.

Festival goers trooped to the Cebuana Lhuillier booth where they won Cebuana merchandise and Phiten necklaces.  Also part of the festivities was Cebuana Lhuillier’s Letra Swerte segment at the main event stage.

Robin Soriano, a Pinoy nurse in Sydney and regular Cebuana Lhuillier remitter, won gift certificates worth AUD 5,000 for his entry in the Facebook contest “Ano ang pinaka-namimiss mo sa Pinas?” A video message from his parents was also played live during the awarding.

As a major sponsor, Cebuana Lhuillier also presented the Ms. Charity Award at the Ms. Philippines-Australia pageant as part of the culminating activity of the event.

CLSC International Remittance Manager Erlinda Sumanga and Local Marketing Department Manager Francis Ubaldo also touched base with Australian partners BM Express and Forex World  to present Cebuana Lhuillier’s 2016 marketing plans.

 

Mother gets fire cash assistance through ACP claim

Biñan, Laguna – Proof that Cebuana indeed cares, Alagang Cebuana Plus beneficiary Theresita Mendoza was able to claim Php25,000 cash assistance after a fire razed their house in Binan, Laguna. She lost her two children while her son was brought to the hospital after suffering third degree burns. Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Services added Php5,000 ex gratia to support her child’s treatment. Though Alagang Cebuana Plus original copies had been lost, her records were retrieved at CLh Biñan 1, making the claim possible. She appreciated the help and sympathy extended to her and promised to be a loyal Ka-Cebuana.

As required by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), clients who engage in a financial transaction with covered institutions for the first time shall be required to present the original and submit a clear copy of at least ONE (1) valid photo-bearing identification document issued by an official authority. For our clients’ convenience, Cebuana no longer requires submission of the photocopied ID. IDs are captured using a webcam in all branches. Clients are also required to submit an updated photo and other relevant information whenever the need for it arises.
