The Cebuana Lhuillier Pera Padala TV ad series “Re-meet”, conceptualized by ad agency Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, recently bagged Silver and Grande Lotus Roots Awards at the recently concluded Ad Fest 2014 held in Pattaya, Thailand.
The TV ads show Cebuana Lhuillier Pera Padala Brand Ambassador Coco Martin surprising unwitting clients, who thought that they were in for a treat, seeing the matinee idol processing their remittance claims. Unbeknownst to them, their relative who sent the money personally handed them the remittance, reuniting the families inside the Cebuana Lhuillier branch.
“We are proud to receive this achievement for Pera Padala. Saatchi was able to embody the value of close family ties through the ads, illustrated by our quick, easy, and reliable domestic and international remittance services. It’s as if you handed your monetary remittance yourself,” said Cebuana Lhuillier President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.
The Ad Fest is an annual ad-making tilt that recognizes the best in the advertising industry, embracing and celebrating local culture and heritage.
The Grande Lotus Roots Award, the highest distinction given out in Ad Fest, is given to works that embody local values whether in terms of culture, religion, beliefs, traditions, or language.
