Mrs. Cebuana Lhuillier 2009 crowned at Star City

July 4, 2009 - Cebuana Lhuillier recognizes that a mother's nurturing qualities and natural beauty bring a unique charm to the family. To honor motherhood in all its grace, Cebuana Lhuillier in partnership with Manila Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), conducted a search for the most beautiful mothers.

Mothers, 21 to 35 years of age, showcased their looks, talent, and wit in the recently concluded Mrs. Cebuana Lhuillier 2009 pageant at Star City. The 10 finalists delighted the cheering audience with their performances ranging from singing, dancing, to story-telling. Even onlookers stopped to witness the finalists stride down the stage clad in their best casual attire and evening gown.

Out of the 10 finalists, the top 4 were selected based on their personality, beauty and poise, attire, and overall impact. They clinched the awards with the question and answer portion where they were asked about matters relating to motherhood. Judges comprise MBC AVP for Finance Robert Pua, MBC AVP for Sales, Ads and Promotions Irving Lizondra, and PJ Lhuillier, Inc. PR Supervisor Michelle David.

A total of eight awards for given away for this pageant. Mrs. Cebuana Lhuillier received a total of P25,000, the first runner-up, P15,000.00; the 2nd runner-up, P10,000; and the 3rd runner-up, P5,000. Special awards for best in gown, talent, casual wear and appeal were also given with a cash prize of P3,000 each.
